To form a rainbow, you need just the right mix of sunshine and rain from a tropical cyclone...

Based out of a camp on an organic-wholefoods farm, and another in a fairy garden, we were in bliss exploring this wonderful magical place. Besides loosing most of the images of this trip and only being able to recover a couple, this is probably up there with one of my favorites. The hinterlands of the northern rivers is the home I never knew existed. I felt welcomed with open arms travelling through its magical hillsides and forests. Without blabbering on about too much which you can't see, here are the photos which I could find

Paroo Darling and Outback NSW

Its Easter, I've been working a corporate job in the city from 9-5 each day, Easter holiday time arrives where if you take 4 days leave, you get about 12 days off; we decided to take a well deserved break from working and head off on a hike through the beautiful Snowy Mountains and Kosciuszko. Of course, the weather forecast was for heavy rain every day which we could view even on the long range forecasts and knowing that we always get drenched in rain as we are cursed with our tents always somehow leaking (even new and freshly weather proofed ones) we decided to head to the to the one place which doesn't rain, the desert... and you know what. It rained. Not only did it rain, there was a dust storm, so all our stuff was absolutely covered in dirt (even getting through our swag and onto our bedding etc.) and then it rained. So all of our stuff freshly coated in a thick coat of red desert dust, then became covered in a thick coat of red desert mud... something which just never seemed wash off.
