Postcards from the mountains...
In the middle of Spring, we packed two suitcases with our hiking gear, warm knits, and a camera.
From our base camp at the Cockatoo Cottage Airbnb in Mount Victoria, we made our way amongst the dense Eucalypts of the Blue Mountains to wander through canyons, ravine, and valleys. The magical topography of the mountains opened up to us.
Though many moments were left undocumented (a wall of tree ferns, silent, while climbing upward; sitting with coffee while the foggy windows of the café obscured the world outside; a dinner of foraged and organic foods in an old deco room), we hope that these postcards can transport you to the special place that the Blue Mountains was for us.
